Exquisite pictures of flora and fauna, hand-painted decorations on pieces* in Limoges porcelain are a testament savoir-faire of excellence. The motifs, chosen according to the inspirations of the collections, are meticulously worked on a poncif, reflecting the spirit of haute couture; tracing paper pierced with small holes – similar to those employed in embroidery – is used to transfer the contours – gone over in pen – of the design onto the models. After preparing the shades one by one, the artist applies layers of color – each requiring a firing phase – using high-precision brushes. The final step is the subtle enhancement of these marvelous sketches with finishes in 24-carat gold, the eternal Dior code. Unique objects like multiple odes to the beauty of gestures.
